Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DevsKeep ("Service", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

DevsKeep is a technical knowledge workspace that lets you save, organize, and reuse code snippets, prompts, notes, commands, links, files, and other content. Features vary by plan (Free or Pro).

2. Your Account

  • You must provide a valid email address and keep your account credentials secure
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
  • One account per person — no sharing accounts between users

3. Content You Create

You own the content you save to DevsKeep.

By saving content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it to you within the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not share your content with other users.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload does not violate third-party intellectual property rights or applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Upload malware, harmful code, or malicious files
  • Attempt to access other users' data or systems
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
  • Use the Service to store or distribute content that violates third-party rights
  • Misuse AI features to generate harmful or deceptive content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Plans and Billing

Free Plan: Available at no cost with the limits described on the Pricing page.

Pro Plan: Paid subscription billed monthly or annually via Paddle. Prices are shown at checkout and on the Pricing page.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings
  • All purchases include a 14-day refund window. To request a refund, contact support@devskeep.com within 14 days of your purchase date
  • If payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan after a grace period

Tax may be added at checkout depending on your location. Paddle collects and remits applicable taxes as the Merchant of Record.

6. Free Plan Limits

Free accounts are limited to 50 items and 3 collections. If you exceed these limits (e.g., after downgrading from Pro), you will not lose existing content but will be unable to create new items until you are within the limits or upgrade to Pro.

7. AI Features

AI features are available on the Pro plan. These features send relevant content to OpenAI's API. By using AI features, you consent to this processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We do not guarantee the accuracy or usefulness of AI-generated output. Do not rely solely on AI responses for critical decisions.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. The Service is provided "as is". We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts access.

9. Data and Backups

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but we are not responsible for data loss. We recommend using the export feature to keep your own backups.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with notice where practical.

On termination, your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevsKeep is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app notification for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.
